A statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky saying a deal to end the war with Russia was "very far away" has drawn a angry response from Donald Trump.

"This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelensky, and America will not put up with it for much longer! It is what I was saying, this guy doesn't want there to be Peace as long as he has America's backing," President Trump wrote on his Truth Social media network.

During his latest news briefing Trump repeated his view that Zelensky "should be more appreciative" for the aid he has received from the US in the three years since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He said: “Maybe somebody doesn’t want to make a deal and if somebody doesn’t want to make a deal that person won’t be around very long”.

It follows angry scenes in the Oval Office last week when Trump and Vice-President JD Vance accused Zelensky of "gambling with World War Three" and failing to thank the American people for the support the United States had provided to Ukraine.

Many residents are frustrated and feel overwhelmed by the frequent flooding, especially after heavy rains. Some say entire streets, houses, and businesses have been submerged.

Some believe illegal structures and construction encroaching on drainage channels — especially along Systems 156, 157, 44, 44A, and 46 — are major reasons why flooding keeps getting worse.

A group of female inmates wanting to shorten their prison sentences take part in a hellish game of cat and mouse with a giant mutated snake.

Two sisters, Mia and Linda, are stuck carrying out a grueling five-year sentence in a women's prison. When Ms. Fang, an eccentric millionaire, persuades the warden of the women's prison to let her "purchase" some girls for her private game show, Mia and her sister are two of the six women selected and are brought to a private hotel to participate in Fang's deadly game. They quickly find themselves fighting for their lives against giant mutated snakes, all for the entertainment of the rich viewers, who are gambling on which of the women will be the last one standing.
